The combination of lattice stitch, a ribbed border, and a yarn that holds a stitch firmly makes a lovely soft blanket, in any color!
Finished measurements: approx. 40“x 28”
Yarn: blue sky alpaca organic cotton (worsted weight; 100% organic cotton; 50gr = 150 yds) color #80 - 7 skeins. Stitch markers.
Needles: size 15 us (10mm) and 10 us (6mm), or size needed to obtain gauge.
Materials: stitch markers.
Gauge: 10 sts and 14 rows = 4” in lattice stitch on larger needles with yarn doubled; 16 sts and 16 rows = 4" in k1/p1 rib on smaller needles with yarn doubled.
Note: the blanket is worked with yarn doubled.
